About the Event
อวยพรเบิกโรง “Overture” brings together 6 artists exploring a homegrown resynthesis of Thai sound, rhythm, melody, tuning, and movement through sampling, code, visuals, ambient soundscapes, heavy basslines, touches of generative AI and live performance. The first in a series of arts-meets-tech concerts curated by yaboihanoi, this night promises bold experimentation and reimagination of Thai sounds by Thai artists.

Hot off the heels of his European debut at SONAR Music Festival 2025 in Barcelona, Spain and winner of the AI Song Contest 2022 winner, @yaboihanoi is pioneering new forms of “EDDM”: Electronic Dance-Drama-Music rooted in ละคร Lakhon theater and music for Southeast Asian and International audiences. Featuring Kid Buak Sipp, a Nonthaburi-based dance and performance collective working with classical Thai movement as living, breathing material and kanta, a Nora instrumentalist bridging the essence of Southern Thai music with contemporary ears.
